Licensed & Trained California Security Guards · Statewide
Here is the complete journey from booking to departure. Most of it happens automatically once you book — the rest is our team doing what we do.
Everything starts on our Book-a-Guard tool. You choose the type of officer you need (unarmed, armed, or off-duty), set your date and hours, describe the event, pick your preferences, review a plain-language service agreement, and pay — all online. Your exact total is shown before you confirm, so there are no surprises and no waiting on a quote.
The moment your booking is placed, you receive an email containing your booking confirmation and a receipt for the amount you paid. This is your record of the engagement — the officer type, date, hours, location, and total are all itemized so you have everything in writing.
If you paid by credit card, your booking is confirmed instantly and we move straight into scheduling. If you paid by bank wire or money transfer, your service is reserved but does not begin until the funds arrive and are confirmed. As soon as those funds are received and validated on our end, your booking is fully activated and we proceed. (See the funding note below — this is important if your date is close.)
Ahead of your date, our operations team connects with your designated point of contact. We confirm the timing, the location and access details, the number of officers, the uniform, and any specific tasks or instructions you have. This is where we lock down the logistics so the day itself runs smoothly.
On the day, your officers arrive approximately 30 minutes to an hour before your event or coverage period starts. Arriving early is deliberate — it gives time to get oriented, coordinate with your team, and be fully in position before the first guest shows up or activity begins.
When officers arrive, they meet your point of contact and receive a walkthrough of the venue or site along with your specific instructions for the assignment — entry points, restricted areas, the guest list or access rules, gift-table or asset locations, escalation contacts, and anything else relevant. Everyone is on the same page before coverage begins.
Your officers stay on post for the full duration of the booked coverage, carrying out the agreed tasks — access control, patrol, crowd management, asset protection, or whatever the assignment calls for. They remain professional, visible where needed, and discreet where appropriate, for the entire engagement.
Once your event or coverage period is complete, the officers wrap up, hand off any relevant information to your contact, and depart. The engagement is done — no lingering obligations, no surprise charges. What you booked and paid for is exactly what was delivered.
Ongoing and long-term jobs. The walkthrough above describes a typical event. Construction sites, fire watch, vacant-property patrol, and other ongoing assignments follow the same principles — coordination, an on-site walkthrough and briefing, and continuous coverage — but are organized around scheduled shifts with handoffs between officers rather than a single event window.
How you pay determines how quickly we can deploy. Here is exactly how each method works so you can plan around your date.
Card payments are processed and confirmed at the moment you book. Scheduling begins right away — this is the fastest path to a confirmed booking, and the best choice if your date is soon.
Wires and transfers are accepted, but service is scheduled only once the funds are received, confirmed, and validated. We cannot deploy officers against pending funds — so if you are paying this way, send your payment with enough lead time before your date.
When you pay by bank wire or money transfer, your officers are reserved but service does not begin until the funds are confirmed and validated in our account. Once we verify the funds have cleared, your booking is fully activated and we proceed with coordination and deployment.
Because clearing times vary by bank and method, we strongly recommend paying by credit card if your event is close, or sending your wire or transfer as early as possible so the funds are confirmed well before your date.
Officers typically arrive 30 to 60 minutes before your event or coverage period begins. That window is used for a walkthrough of the venue, a briefing on your specific instructions, and getting fully in position before guests or activity start.
You immediately receive an email with your booking confirmation and a receipt for the amount you paid. From there, our operations team coordinates with your point of contact ahead of the date to confirm timing, location, and any special instructions.
If you pay by bank wire or money transfer, your service is scheduled once the funds are received, confirmed, and validated. We are not able to deploy officers until cleared funds are on file, so if your date is close, choose card payment or send your wire or transfer with enough lead time.
Officers stay on post for the full duration of the booked coverage — from arrival through the end of your event or engagement. For ongoing jobs, coverage runs across the scheduled shifts with handoffs between officers.
